I seriously can’t stop smiling every time I look at the photos from our shoot with Joni. We did a dreamy little bookstore/café shoot and it felt like something straight out of a rom-com — soft, cozy, and full of charm.

From the very beginning, Joni was so proactive and thoughtful. She helped us scout out the perfect location and gave us a ton of amazing options to choose from. She was flexible and totally willing to adjust plans to make sure everything felt just right for us.

During the shoot, she made us feel completely at ease. My boyfriend and I are both pretty introverted and usually feel awkward in front of a camera, but somehow, it felt like she was just quietly peeking into our date, capturing some beautiful moments.

She gently encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones a bit, and we even got to try some cool motion shots that ended up being some of our favorites. The whole experience was relaxed and super fun.

Joni has a gift. My girlfriend and I were fresh in our relationship only just blossoming, and Joni was merely a stranger, but she made it so easy to be comfortable in our own skin and not feel any sort of guilt for bringing a jacket I only wore for the last 10 minutes (of which she draped over her arm the whole shoot).

From the moment I contacted Joni for our engagement and wedding pictures, I knew I was in great hands. She was fast and professional with her response. She worked with us to see what we were looking for and created a package to make sure all our needs are met. Our engagement shoot was last minute and ended up taking 2days due to unforeseen circumstances on our way there but she never got upset and was happy to show up each day.
